Annual Donations
The B40SC membership requires an annual donation. We offer three payment tiers for membership and welcome any additional donations throughout the year. These tiers are ‘pay what you can’ and ensure everyone can afford to be a part of the club. All donations go exclusively to the operating costs of the club and directly back to camp itself. If you have any questions about this, we’re happy to chat.
We suggest one of the following annual donations, but we accept anything in between or far beyond.

Social Gatherings & Events
Let’s hang! the B40SC coordinates camp connections across the country. We will plan city/town specific social gatherings and activities for alumni — BBQs, a night at a brewery, a group hike, volunteer meetups, and more. For those that don’t live near any camp alum bubbles, we facilitate the occasional virtual gathering like Jewell Trivia and general chat sessions.
If you have an idea for an event or want to host a gathering, let us know! Email us at info@back40socialclub.com and we’ll help get the ball rolling.
The Alumni Map
Our alumni map will feature all of our club members on a private platform. It will allow alumni to search for old friends, connect with new people in their area or as they travel, open new doors for networking, and bring together individuals from across generations.
Any member can opt out of being featured, but we highly recommend it. At this time, we’re slated to launch this feature by 2027 with your help.
This map might start off small, but as our members grow, so will our connections. Remember, Jewell has over 500,000 past campers, staff, and friends.
Volunteer
We’re looking to our club members for help! We’d love to have some extra hands, and extra minds, to join our committees.
Each board member is affiliated with and runs one of our committees that keeps the B40SC up and running. Any social club member is able to volunteer for a select committee — we have volunteer spots open for our Social & Marketing, Events Planning, and Membership and Outreach Committees. Simply email us at info@back40socialclub.com to be connected with a committee lead.
*For our Social & Marketing Committee, we’d especially love to have volunteers with social media management, graphic design, and or web experience.
